Course Description: Do you want to increase engagement and rigor in your classroom with learning experiences that will meet the needs of all of your learners? John Antonetti and James Garver studied over 17,000 classrooms to determine the level of thinking and engagement of students. They used these observations to create a rubric and cube to assist teachers in creating and evaluating the rigor involved in learning tasks. This book will provide you with hands-on experience with engaging tasks that have been used with real kids in real classrooms. Each chapter also provides current research that supports the use of such tasks and design elements.
